There are many daily wage families, particularly in rural areas, who have been affected badly due to this lockdown. They are starving and have no fuel to burn their ‘Chuhlas’, their wood fueled stoves. The families use the traditional way of burning wood for fuel. They are too poor to afford gas or alternative means for fuel.
NTI alumni at Triratna Centre, Bodhgaya have donated wood to families in surrounding areas, who are all daily wage labourers.
