Work Details: The Nagaloka team went to one of the worst affected areas in Nagpur, Bhandewadi. Most people in this neighbourhood are daily wage labourers. It is a very dense slum. Upon conducting research and finding the most affected families in this slum, the Nagaloka team went from house to house handing over food packets to families. Although many people rushed to get food, it was important to be fair and give those who were starving priority, especially those above 70 years old.
We went little more further in remote areas, but in the remote areas also we were standing immediately people were coming to us and asking us the food packets so it was very hard to recognize, but there was shepherd old man, we found that he was looking very frustrating and while speaking with him we realized that he doesn’t have to eat anything, so we pleased to hand over the food.
The team also gave some food packets to policemen to distribute in other remote areas that they couldn’t reach themselves.
Beneficiaries Quantity: 50
Beneficiaries Details: Daily wage labourers.
