Ration Distribution in Sonepur, Odisha

 Work details: Since the lock-down was declared, NTI alumni Gurudev Nanda has been stuck in Guwahati and has not been able to reach his village and help the needy in person. However, through the NTI Covid19 relief fund, he has received money which he has sent to his parents and extended family members to volunteer there in place of him. His family purchased 162 kg of rice, 35 kg of dal, 30 kg of potatoes, and 55 bars of soap, and distributed these provisions to needy people around Sonepur in Odisha.
Beneficiaries Quantity: 80 families
Beneficiaries Details: Daily wage labourers, elderly persons, handicapped persons and widows.

Remarks:
NTI has taken a great initiative to help, and I really appreciate it. My parents have told me how the beneficiaries are very thankful to me and Nagaloka, and our donors, for this. However, since the lockdown will continue, we will need more support in the near future.
I am very much thankful and indebted to Nagaloka.
