Work Details: NTI alumni Kartika’s village is Dumdumi, in Balangiri district. It is one of the most economically backward villages in the area. Many of the villages here do not have fertile land to cultivate on, and have to rely on daily wage labour to survive. The ongoing crisis has put an end to their means of livelihood. Through the funds given by our international and national donors, our volunteers have been able to supply 35 families with basic food supplies to keep them from starving.

Remarks:
Those who received ration from us were very thankful to Nagaloka and the donors, as they can now feed their families.
