Work Details: NTI alumni and their team of volunteers in Kannuj in UP were able to help people who were severely affected by the nationwide lockdown. With the funds they received, they went door to door in slum areas to give grains, pulses, spices, soap, vegetables, and oil to those in need.
Beneficiaries Quantity: 7 families, including elderly people, widows, and orphans
Beneficiaries Details: Slum dwellers
Remarks: These communities had not received any relief since the lockdown began and they were grateful for what they got from NTI alumni. Now that the lockdown has been extended, we will have to work harder so that they do not starve once more.
