Team Members involved: Bhramara(NTI, Alumni), Rahul Baishnab, Mohim Choudhury, Champak Choudhry, Minton Baishnab
Work details: I am glad to inform that the relief work that was initiated to help the people of Srirampur( Dalit community in Assam) village has been a huge success.
Mr. Rahul Baishnab made all the necessary purchases and arranged for transportation.
We were able to procure,
125 Kg of rice
25 kg of onion
25 kg of mug Dal
12-liter oil and 6 kg tomato
The beneficiaries were distributed to villagers who do not have their own farming land and families of people who were in no position to earn during this pandemic for various reasons such as, sickness in the families or persons with disabilities or person who ferry daily wage income has stopped due to this pandemic.
Beneficiaries Quantity: 50
Beneficiaries Details: The beneficiaries were daily wagers who totally depend on ferry selling and also they are belong to landless Dalits community
