Volunteer’s Name: Gurudev Nanda

Team Members involved: Gurudev Nanda (NTI Alumni), Satyasain Kaanar, Rabi Nanda, Preti, Prabhat, Sily, Ribika, Lili, Malaya, Dharmendra.
Work Details: Nagaloka almnus Gurudev Nanda has been stranded in Guwahati and have not been able to reach the field and help the needy in person. However, through the NTI Covid19 relief fund, hr received money which he sent to his friends, who are volunteering in Odisha. He requested his friends to volunteer there in place of him. The volunteers were able to purchase 170 kg of rice, 30 kg of dal, 34 kg of potatoes, 34 kg of onion, 34 kg of tomato, 16 litre of cooking oil, 16 kg of sugar and 34 bars of soap, and distributed these provisions to needy in his village.
Beneficiaries Quantity: 34 families
Beneficiaries Details: Daily wage labourers, elderly people, handicapped people, widows, and unemployed persons.
Remarks:
People who received ration are very thankful to the NTI Covid19 team, donors and volunteers for this great initiative and generosity. Team members who were involved were grateful for the experience and what they were able to do to help their community. They convey their regards to the NTI Covid19 team and donors.
