Target Amount to be raised: Rs. 32830/-
Appeal in brief
Alwar, in Rajasthan State, is a developing city, situated 3 hours from Delhi. The mobility of the ragpickers and the Banjara communities has been severely affected by the lockdown. The ragpickers, whose lives depend on going out everyday and collecting what can be retrieved and recycled from garbage and streets, cannot go out to source their materials now, neither they can sell anything. Their living conditions have suffered and become worse. Their daily wage earning has come to an abrupt halt.
Banjara communities in Alwar are in a similar state of distress. Their community depends on the selling of plastics and iron materials found in waste.
On behalf of Nagaloka, we appeal to all of you to support us in this extremely grave situation.
