Location of Work: Bijoypur, Bordumsa subdivision, Changlang district, Arunachal Pradesh

Team Members involved: Surendra Chakma, Basudev Chakma
Work Details: The two NTI alumni from Bijoypur area are working together under the guidance of Maitriratna, the coordinator of their team. They have been able to survey 9 villages of Bijoypur, and have listed 140 families who are in need of assistance during the lockdown. They have been able to get funding for 70 of the families who are most vulnerable, and have distributed ration to these families, including rice, mustard oil, and salt. When they receive more funds, they will be able to supply the rest of the families on their list with food provisions.
Beneficiaries Quantity: 295 people, 70 families
Beneficiaries Details: Daily wage labourers, poor farmers, small scale vegetable sellers, and widows.
Remarks: The families who have received ration from us are very thankful. They appreciate what NTI fund and its donors have done for their lives at this difficult time. We hope that the rest of the funding comes through so that the other 70 families in need are able to receive food items.
