Work details:
During our survey, It was observed that there were many people jobless due to lockdown in the locality for prevention of spread of Covid virus. These people are daily wages labour, sweeper, herdsman etc. We observed and interacted with such people because they all are leaving around our locality. No doubt there are some people are government servant but they even not bothered to interact with such people who haven’t job. So this is the condition here. But due to covid, the people who have lost their job nowadays are in extreme need of dry ration at least because this is the basic need of survival. During my relief work survey, We have reach out such people who are in great need. This is the thing that we are familiar about. So with the help of our team, we reached out to such needy people and distributed dry ration to them by the support received from Manuski, Pune. The people who avail dry ration from Manuski were grateful for its compassionate work.
Remarks:
During relief work, there were a number of people who were also in great need because since lockdown has been continuing for longer time, whatever they have had lasted and they had been surviving with toughest. Although we have tried reaching out the poorer among the poor but still several people are in need. We felt sad when we did not support many of them because we have limited ration kits and people were a lot. In the slum, we faced difficulties in distribution however we can understand it happens when we go for slum for the relief work as almost all are required the ration.
